I'm new to hatching peafowl and I recently set some eggs I purchased. I set two batches of six. 1 chick hatched each time and 8 more had fully developed but did not hatch. Wondering what I'm doing wrong. I've hatched many chickens, turkeys, ducks, and quail in the past.

Well I was going to say that if they were shipped to you, shipped peafowl eggs can be really hard to hatch, but since you said 8 fully developed but did not hatch then I am not quite sure because usually for me shipped eggs never get that far.

Perhaps the person you bought the eggs from is not feeding their birds enough of something such as protein. I learned from AugeredIn on here that when you have issues with peachicks not hatching, lots of them needing help, or they are very week after they hatch then it could be a protein thing.

If you can I would try getting eggs elsewhere. Although what I REALLY recommend is just buying peachicks instead of eggs.

Welcome to BYC!

Does your incubator have a fan? What temp? What humidity? Are you turning by hand? How many times a day?

The incubator does have a fan. It's set to 99.5 in my basement so the humidity stays around 40-50% and I add more water the last week so it is around 70-75%. The incubator has automatic turners and I turn the eggs once in morning and once in the evening by hand. Thanks everyone for all the replies. They were shipped eggs so I did figure to have much luck with them but it is frustrating to have fully developed chicks in so many and they dont hatch

Perhaps you should see if you can get some eggs from @frenchblackcopper , he's an easy drive from you!
And he's also a hatching expert, so he can give you excellent advice as well...

I suspect that the humidity is too high. When they don't lose enough moisture in the egg they don't have enough room to swing their head to peck out or in the case I had last year they would peck a hole and could not get the beak back inside to keep pecking at the shell. Reduce the humidity to low forties and only bring it back up for the last three days in lock down.
