Eggs not pipped yet. Is it too late?

That is the yolk sac before they absorb it. That is why hatcheries can ship live poultry they can live off that absorbed egg sac for 2-3 days without eating other feed.
Just clarifying, you're referring to the orange sacs right? Not the "deformities" on the two I assisted right?

Does it take 2-3 days to absorb or do they absorb it pretty quickly and just be able to sustain for a few days until they get food?

Is there any information or assumptions that can be drawn from them still having it? For instance, because my angels still had it, does that tell you that they still were a few days from hatching? If that's the case, I would assume Daffy would have abandoned them anyways if there's that big of gap between hatching.

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really curious.

Yes, on the dead ones. It means they died before they started getting oxygen, which is what triggers the absorption of the yolk. This is why they can take so long after pipping to finally hatch. When they hatch, it should be fully absorbed, if it isn't they need to be isolated/restrained in a small container until it finally is.

Once hatched, the babies don't need to eat for at least 24 hours. They survive on all the nutrition they received from that yolk.
