So, I cracked two eggs for dinner yesterday and both had a network of red veins. Yes, they were developing. I collect my eggs every 2 days. And this egg was almost 5-6 day into incubation. I checked other 3 eggs they were also developed. I had a hen that was previously broody ( she has hatched her 3 chicks 2 week earlier) so I gave her three eggs. She's sitting on them every now and then. Temperature here is 42 degrees centigrade outside and maybe 38-39 inside the house. She's kept inside a room I am positive she's sitting on them quite some time (not all the time because she's also nurturing her chicks of previous hatch) and besides the room temperature is also 37-39 . Will they hatch ? 😕

Will they hatch ?

Maybe?

You can leave them under the hen for a week or so, then candle them again to see if they're making progress.

I've heard stories of eggs that hatched under really strange conditions, and other stories of eggs that failed to hatch even when conditions seemed perfect, so I really don't know what will happen in your case :)

You might get more replies to this if you put it in the Incubating Eggs section of the forum instead of this one, which is a buy-sell-trade section for hatching eggs. :)
