First of all I appreciate the help people give me on this site - it is great! I think I'd drive myself crazy otherwise!

Do all eggs that are fertile always have the veins people talk about? I don't see veins on most of the eggs but the dark spot seems to be increasing in size.

So I don't know if I have babies or not..and I'll be real sad if that's not the case. Although based on all I've read on this site I am thinking that I have no chicks. But how come the dark spot is bigger? It kind of looks like what you see when you candle on 3 or 5 just bigger.

Hatch date is Monday, 8/10. I guess I'll know then. I just wonder what I did wrong..I tried to be so careful!

First off, don't give up home.... Sometimes I cannot candle well and don't see... Remember to stop the turning on day 18 and up that humidity.

PM me if you need any more help.

God bless you during this hatching and always.

Thats the name of the game. Some times it works some times it doesnt. You cant give up though! Mother nature has a wierd way of working on occasion

If you just see a blob in the middle of the egg it is most likely a shadow that you are seeing and not a chick. Normally when something is growing you will be able to see something other than the blob, but all hope is not lost. Like the previous poster said just let them go the whole time and see what happens. Don't give up because this kinda thing does happen. Good luck! Keep us posted.
