My Delaware's came from E-Bay. She put them in a half egg carton with extra styrofoam and the extra 2 eggs wrapped in bubble wrap.
The scariest part of the experience for me was that a Priority mail truck had blown up on I-4. And my eggs were a couple days late in arriving for priority mail.
My post office is very nice and know me. I told them I was expecting eggs that I was going to hatch and to please get them to me asap. They arrived at my post office the next day and they brought them as soon as they got them, special delivery.
Out of 8 eggs, 1 not fertile, 1 quit, 1 I dropped, the rest happy healthy chickens! 5 weeks old today!!!!!
