Eggs on side ?

when putting eggs in incubator for hatching are they better on their side or on end ?

Do u have an automatic turner?...if not on their side I believe

If you have an automatic egg turner then put pointy end down and on the last 3 days of incubation I put them on their side.

Yes, I like to take the Turner out instead of just turning it off...heard too many horror stories about chicks getting stuck

Yes I have an automatic turner, just wondering because they would be on their sides under a hen
