I sell for $3 doz. In this area they run from $2-5 a doz as well.

I'm not selling eggs just yet since my chicks are still too young but in Kentucky the price of a dozen in the super market is 1.99 for the white eggs that are normally on sale and for the cage free eggs they are about 2.95 a dozen. As far as the backyard chicken sellers, I check on craigslist every now and then to compare prices to see what I might charge in the future and the price ranges from 2-3 dollars a dozen. The most expensive I've seen is 15 dollars a dozen but that was for fertilized eggs.
