That is awesome! I hope they all make it. The only way I can tell anything abt the marans eggs is if I see dark in there, I cant see any veining in them!I couldn't resist and candled a few last night! Out of the 4 from my birds I can see two are developing, the other 2 have slightly darker more porous shells. Out of the 12 Welsummers I candled 4 and all 4 were developing and our of 4 of the Marans I could only tell that 1 was. Those eggs are just too dark! I will candle all on day 7 (Friday) and hopefully see a little more. Right now the bottom part of the eggs just look a little darker than the top but it also looks like the air cells are reattaching nicely!
