Eggs shipped on Tues still not here!!! UPDATE! Came today, Monday!!!!!

If they don't come tomorrow, I don't know what I will do. I have some that were sent Wed. that came in today and I want to set them at the same time. I called the PO and gave them the conf. # and the last thing they have is where the box left PA on Wed at 2:17 am and the expected delivery date was yesterday. If they are not here tomorrow they will have to sit all weekend. Will they be ok? I mean I have another bator that I could set up and use but I wanted them to all be set together. Man. The PO sucks!!!

I bet they come with Saturdays mail!! I have had that happen before, it seems like if you order a couple different sets that there will always be something go wrong with one of the sets and they come a few days late. I would give them until tomorrow and set everything Sunday. If your temps havnt been to bad they should be OK if they come on Monday. I think I would set the first on Sunday though if the others dont come tomorrow. I have set my own eggs when they were 3 weeks old but never shipped eggs. Good luck, Jenn

you can kepp eggs seven to ten days and still have a good hatch.these are not shipped thou

I have a few peeps from a group that sat in the mail a solid week in a warm week in June. One of the reasons Mike my roo from that hatch has a home still. I was spitting nails when they finally showed up they only had to go from NY state to NJ.
Set them and dated them and 21 days later peep peep.

Thanks, I will keep my fingers and toes crossed that they are here tomorrow. I just wonder why you can't get better info from the PO when you have a conf. number. The latest thing they had is from Wed. at 2:17 am??? Thanks

At least they scanned it! I've had them take money for Delivery Confirmation for months on end and the receiving P.O. never would scan it. I demanded my money back every time. Pure laziness and because people won't gripe enough.

It is just awful. I know they are eggs but I feel like they are real baby chicks anyway. I hope they come in one piece. Dang it!!

Everytime I have bought hatching eggs they never update it. It just says were they were mailed. I have always gotten my eggs, usually within two days. But is is quite irritating that PO people cant do what they are paid to do. Maybe if enough people complain, they might get better at scanning the packages. I hope your eggs arrive in good condition. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

She said she would write on the box to call me but I gave her my work number. I wont be at work on Sat. But they called me today about the eggs that came from AL and she had forgotten to put a number. They just looked in the phone book for my name and address. It is a pretty small town. I told DH to go by and put a hold on the mail for tomorrow. I had put one on for today. I will let you know what happens.
