Eggs shipped on Tues still not here!!! UPDATE! Came today, Monday!!!!!

You are paying for delivery conformation, not tracking. THey scan it when the send them and they are suppose to scan it when they are delivered. They dont scan them at every postal stop. I think when you include the delivery conformation they make sure they at least get there but the timing still can be late. This is why when you put the info in it is not updated, and when it is, you should have your eggs. Jenn

That makes sense, what does not make sense is why they should not be able to track it themselves though. Especially if they know when it left where. Even if you did only pay for delivery conf., they should be able to find the package if it is late. Especially since it is a box, not an envelope. And it has my phone number on the box.

I ordered eggs on ebay from Pa and got them here in Alabama a day and a half later.

Where are your eggs comming from?

I am sooo sorry that they havnt arrived yet..

I had the same thing happen with some duck eggs and they never did arrive. It is just another hazzard that comes with wanting something that is not in our area. I was going to order a bunch of chicks and then thought daaa I am collecting about 7 dozen of my own eggs and am just going to incubate those. I would candle and set them if they come in the next few day though. If they are not cracked there is still a slim chance some might hatch. Good luck, Jenn

I ordered them from Jen at Sassy Silkies and yes she knows that I have not received them but I am not sure there is much she can do at this point. I have emailed the USPO to see if they can give me any other info besides what is posted. I know I did not pay for tracking but they still should know where the stupid box is? Anyway, I will let you know if anything changes.

Just went and picked them up. After 6 days in the mail they look great. I have not taken them all out of the box, I am at work. But they look fine. I guess I should wait til in the morning to set them huh? Give them plenty of time to settle down. Crazy PO. I get the call and run over there and then the guy waiting on me says there is no box for you. I said well Beth just called and said I have a box. He goes back there and finds it on her desk. Idiots. But they are here and hopefully will all hatch, or at least some. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me.

Thanks, I know that if they hatch they will be nice. They came from sassy silkies and jen has some nice birds. the ones in the bator now came from miss jaynie knight in AL and will be nice as well. I am so thankful for everyone here. Thanks.
