Two of my eggs got stuck to the Turner. When I tried to get them out one broke. The one that broke, the bottom piece is still stuck like glue to the turner. Has this ever happened to anyone? Why does this happen? Did I do something wrong? What causes this?

Anyone???

I think sometimes an egg will sort of seep if it gets rotton. Not your fault. If you can, just remove that row in the turner.

My first though too, that it had started oozing. If possible, remove that one rack.

I've had this a few times, something will oooze and then egg is glued to the rack. I carefully push the egg up from underneath it. Leave it if it won't budge, or it will be all over the other eggs. If it does bust, clean up as best as you can, wiping off any on other eggs. Leave the stuck part until hatch is done. Don't throw any away unless they are cracked. They wipe off fine. Nothing you did wrong that I know of. HenZ

No, you could just move them to another row in the turner. Do you have the room to move a row?

Thanks! You changed my mood real quick. I was just about to start crying. Yes, I have room to move them around.

if its the new white turners take them all out and put in cartons, then remove the whole rack and deal with the broken egg, the eggs can be out of the bator for up to 1/2 an hour but try to get it done in less time, but dont rush. put them pointy side down of course, and off to the side while you work so you dont squish them.

good luck!

You know I thought it might be the turner. I bought that one for my turkey eggs, but my turkey eggs are too big and come right up to the top of the LG. My chicken eggs were supposed to have the 1611 turner that goes with my HB Genesis, but it arrived broken. I called and they sent a new one right away. I just got it today and transferred all of my chicken eggs to the 1611 and will manually turn my turkey eggs. Thanks.
