Ok so I went to put my eggs into lock down and take them out of the racks in my Brinsea. Two of the eggs were stuck together, so I gently pulled them apart. A piece of shell about the size of a small pea came off one of the eggs. I'm pretty sure the egg with the missing shell have a viable chick in it. What should I do? Will this piece of shell missing cause shrink wrapping? Should I put a piece of damp paper towel on the place where the shell is missing?

A little bit of wax or paraffin over the 'hole' should suffice. Good luck on your hatch.
