EGGS SWEATING!! 1ST DAY IN BATOR!!

Sweating? How many hours have they been in there? How cold were they
when you put them in? What is the humidity? Are you sure it is condensation,
not a thin shell leaking from the heat causing expansion?

If you didnt bring them up to at least room temp and put cool eggs in, there will be condensation, especially if the humidity is high. If they were all the same temp and only two are doing that, I hope they aren't seeping like PC said.

Yeah I guess its sweating. Two of the eggs have a driplet of water or something running down them. They have only been in there for about an hour, just got them today. I read the thermometer and it read over 100, but 10 min earlier it read 99.
I am not sure if it is condensation or not. I hope I didn't kill them

I forgot to mention that I left them open for a couple of hours so they would get room temperature before I put them in the bator

It shouldn't kill them but when you say you just got them today what does that mean?
Did they come in the mail? Did you let them sit for a while and come to room temp first?
I'm concerned that the eggs might have gotten real cold in the mail or from
bing outside.

yeah I got them in the mail. We picked them up this morning from the post office. They came all bubblewrapped and all. I set them out for 2-3 hours so they would get to room temperature

No hygrometer.
My Ag-Tech teacher told me to fill the Hova-Bator with water in the bottom and just check up on them and make sure the temp is steady. We went to the store today and they didn't have hygrometers, which is stupid because Wal-Mart has everything

Walmart generally has them...they're with the outdoor thermometers.

I have a hova and I've never had the whole bottom filled with water.....even when I've got the humidity up for hatching. I start out with maybe 1/4 cup water and go from there. I'd take some of the water out.
