Eggs turned or rolled, laying down or standing

There are an enormous amount of different incubators out there, and many ways to operate them. Some have the eggs laying down in the trays, in others the eggs stand with the small end down. Some roll the eggs 180 degrees and others again tip the eggs from side to side.

What do you have?
For those who've had different types, which one did you like the best?
And what do you think is best for the eggs themselves?

Incubator with automatic turner. Laying down in upper tray, standing on small end lower tray.

Incubator with manual roller, pushed from the outside. Eggs laying down.

I like this type best.
They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.
No need to plug them in. Auto egg turn. Built in thermal regulation and humidity control.
Full memory timer, although I have had a couple malfunction.
What's really impressed me about this model is after the eggs have hatched they rear the chicks as well.
Okay, they can be a bit on the expensive side to run but another neat built in feature is when they are not functioning as incubators they lay eggs! You can't say that about many of the electric models out there.
I can't recommend this line highly enough.
In case you were thinking about getting one, they're called a hen.

Haha, well obviously! Best incubator there is! Unfortunately I've found them to be somewhat uncooperative at times. Not available all year around, and have moderate capacity.

So you have. I didn't know they came in black as well.
The trouble I'm having with the gray model is it doesn't seem to be weatherproof.
I've tried running it outside but it just switches off.
I've had this model for 7 years now. I must have been trying to operate it incorrectly for a while. I finally realized it was the indoor model and now I can't switch the ****** thing off!

I really can't recommend them highly enough. It is true that the quality control on some of the models isn't all it could be; as @the cluck juggler mentions there are reliability issues with some models. However, once you've got one working they are an absolute joy.
I was so impressed with the model I keep getting more.

I praying the models I have are decent, returning policy sucks around here.

Well, you know how it is.You buy one of these from Wallmart or some mail order concern and you just don't know what you'll end up with.
My advice is to do a bit of research and go for a bespoke model. Sure, they'll cost a bit but they do seem to last longer and have fewer terminal problems.
Of course, in this day and age, everyone is in a hurry and it's everything now and no patience........

I know all about the no patience, that's what ended up turning 3-5 straight runs into Cockerels! I learned my lesson trust me.

Ah yes, I've tried that too. Terrible, terrible incubators! Never starts, and not a single egg appears!
