Eggs were lost in mail for 6 days!!

Can i ask how far away your eggs came from? I'm considering ordering eggs, but its always so hot here and the rest of the country isn't fairing any better.

I ordered my eggs from Kentucky and I'm in California. I was very worried about the heat also but I don't think they sat in the heat anywhere because it was delivered by Priority Mail and came in three days. I also live in a tiny community and could call my Post Office and had them delivered to my door. I also could have picked them up. Hope that helps!

My first batch was set 48hrs ago and my 2nd set 24 hours ago... when do you suggest that I start to candle. I was thinking day 6 or 7 to keep from opening the top too much and to give everyone a chance. At what point do you remove the eggs? I know if they are absolutely clear take them out at 7 or 8 right??
