Stalking the nests to 'catch them in the act' is the only way I know how.
Tedious and time consuming.

Yes it can be tricky. I haven’t put that time into it. I can separate them for a day but they would squack about it. Lol

Yeah, sometimes they won't lay if confined.

I’ll just have to sit out in the coop and watch them go in to lay. They drop and run lol
