Question for you, we have eggs from our chickens in refrigerator and our refrigerator started to crap out. We got the eggs into our other frige before it got to warm. My question is will eggs be ok or no? Thanks

How long were the eggs without active refrigeration? They *should* be fine from the sounds of your post - what you can do if you are at all concerned is a) float test the eggs prior to use and then b) crack each egg into a bowl separate from any mixing bowl or cooking pan you are using so that you can verify each one is safe by sight and smell.

Egg don't have to technically be refrigerated, it helps them last longer, the eggs would be the last thing that I would worry about in a refrigerator that's not working, as long as they don't get heated up they should be fine.

They were never without refrigeration, but it wasn't as cold as it should be (maybe got up to 50-55 degrees I would guess

Eggs are designed to sit there until the hen starts incubation, some people leave them sitting out for a couple of weeks on a room temperature counter top, I personally don't, but I wouldn't worry too much. Hopefully one of those people will pop in here and let you know.

We don't keep our fresh, unwashed eggs in the fridge. I'm sure your eggs are fine.

Us either, my eggs stay out in the barn until i am ready to use them. It stays around 60 degrees in the barn. The longest we ever had them out was a bit over 2 weeks and they were all perfectly fine. They say the best baking eggs are ones that sit on the counter and are room temperature, i agree.

One thing to remember is that while eggs do not have to be refrigerated and can be safely kept unrefrigerated, once they have been refrigerated, it is best to keep them that way. There is a difference between never refrigerating and refrigerating then not.
