How long do eggs stay good in the coop if the hens are not yet seting?
First off, Welcome to the BYC!
To answer your question, it depends. If the temp is 32-65 degrees, they will be okay for a long time. If it is below 32, they could possibly freeze eventually. It would take a while, but could happen. If temp is above 70, they could go bad in a few days. As long as you don't let them go more than a couple days, you should have no problem with any temps. I would suggest collecting them as promtly as possible so you don't any issues. Some folks collect several times a day. I collect mine once a day. I usually wait until late afternoon because the hens have all layed by then.
Hope this helps.
