I found 5 eggs i the yard. I put them in the coop in a nesting box and marked with a pen I dont know how long they have been in the yard maybe a week maybe less. my hens dont stay out of the coop at night so they havent sat on them. regularly but its 110 degrees.
will they hatch?

I have a roo. My hens arent broody.but when I moved the eggs they followed me and it seemed like they tended to them.

They were following you 'cause they're wondering what you're doing. Chickens are very nosey birds and love to be involved in what you're doing in case there's any food involved. If you want and are able to handle chicks, you'll have to buy an incubator. Do make sure you have adequate room for more chicks and a plan for extra cockerels if you do choose to hatch though. Otherwise just collect the eggs daily
