To crtrlovr , yes the inside birds keep life interesting , and to 4-H chicken mom ; I got the Wyandottes at about 2 or 3 days old at the feed mill earlier this spring . I had seen the Golden Laced before and loved the beautiful color . I did not know that they came in bantam and standard sizes . They had several varieties for sale and the little cages didn't specify whether these birds were bantam or standard . It did specify that they were hens . I hope they are standards because we want the larger egg . Bantam eggs are just to small for my liking . Thanks for the warm welcome everyone !!!
Wonderful wife , two mutts , 1 African Grey , 1 Blue Crested Conure , 1 Quaker , 1 parakeet , 10 Golden Wyandottes , 1 RIR , 1 Silver Sebright , 1 Barred Rock , 12 Indian Fantail and 12 Modena pigeons . I am truly a blessed man to have such a wonderful wife !!! Oops forgot about the two pairs of solid white Homers and two pair of Laced Satinette pigeons .
