how long do you keep eggs un refrigerated do you wash them after you find them

If you wash them you remove the protective coating and must refrigerate them. I am not sure as to how long you can leave them out.

I don't wash mine until I use them. I kept a basket of eggs out on my kitchen counter last summer in 90 degree heat and they were fine to eat even after a month. I understand that in Europe they don't refrigerate eggs, so I decided since we had an abundance of eggs, I'd see, and believe it or not- they were great! Fluffiest scrambled eggs ever! They seem a bit thinner when you crack them when they are room temperature, but taste delicious. Just don't wash the bloom off until you use them. This protects them from germs or bacteria from entering the egg.
