eggtopsy on overdue eggs

put 10 eggs in the incubator 28 days ago,1chipped at 23 days,20hrs later it hadnt progressed so we helped,it came out day 24, another pipped same day and was out in 2hrs! day 25 another pipped we had to help again ! no more! so we left them in the incy cos candeling was all dark ! we had a problem with temperature dropping! so just opened them up day 28,2 were yolks! 1 was 1 week to developing, 2 were 2wks into developing , and 2 were fully grown! 1 had absorbed the egg sack 1 had almost,there was plenty of fluid in egg to manouver on the fully grown ones! so why didnt they hatch?

im doing another batch next week but ive ordered a hydrometer so i can hopefully get it right,

any tips will be greatly apreciated ! the 3 chicks born are doing well

Sounds like major problems with temp and humidity. We set ours recently at 99.5-100 degrees and 80% humidity. Had a great hatch.
