Since I have entered the world of hatching, and have had quite a few things go wrong so far, I have been trying to learn as much as possible. The one thing I've found that is really lacking in learning why chicks may not hatch has been the visual part. We have really great candling photos on this site (my chicks were the models

) but very few eggtopsy ones and really, you just run across them by accident. I was looking for photos of shrink wrapped chicks so I could understand if that is what I'm seeing in my eggs that I open, when I ran across this member of flickr. I, of course, added the member right away as a contact so I could keep up with the photos. I thought I would share it with others in case you have ever wondered the same things!

(flickr is a very safe site, in case anyone is concerned about links - I have been a member there for years)

I am just starting out in incubating ... but thought to myself when I start candling or discovering the eggs that don't make it I too am going to open up the eggs to learn something.

I can't open the url link, as I'm at work, but really looking forward to opening it later tonight at home.

thanks for sharing !!!
