Hey guys, I recently got some chicks for my broody hen to raise since her eggs hadn’t hatched after nearly six weeks of broodiness... these are our Egyptian fayoumis at nearly 3 weeks old.

Now I know it’s still very early to jump to conclusions, but that little guy in the middle already has a comb that’s way bigger than his siblings, and since they’re the same breed and age, I’m really thinking he’s a boy.

So far all the my chicks that had the biggest (single) combs as babies ended up being boys... have you all had different experiences? I don’t mind having a boy at all, but I’m curious!
