El Cheapo 60's airstream update...pics

This needs to be on the "ugly" coops post - not that any of them or this is ugly - but that seems to be where the great ideas aboout making a coop from what you have are gathering! At least that's where I'm stealing all of my ideas from

OMG, you have any idea how much you could have sold that airstream for????? I know people who would have paid over $20,000 for an Airstream trailer even one such as that was LMAO. (And I am being cheap as I have seen people on tv on some shows pay more than that. You could have build a brand new 30x50 steel building to house chickens in for that around here!!!

I'm one of those people! Though, once they reach a certain point, I think this is a fun, great idea!

I like it also!

Yes,yes,yes
We are well aware what a restored 1962 Airstream is worth. I only paid 1500 bones for the whole shcmoozle though! My chick chicks would much rather hang out in this warm and cozy thing in a blustery South Dakota winter than a stick built squarish thignamaboob.
Wouldn't you?

Turnkey31,

Show us some photos of before and after! I love to see an artist at work...

Recycling is the name of the game. Myself, growing up in the 70's, I remember it was a disposable world. Now I see the value in utilizing items instead of sending them to the burn pile.

Good luck on your new project.
