Some of my flock have lice
. I treated everyone and the entire coop (after I stripped it) with poultry lice dust while I waited for my Elector PSP to arrive. It arrived today and I treated all my birds thoroughly with that. I saw no live lice but there were definitely eggs and I made sure to separate the feathers and saturate the entire afflicted area.
Now, I also have two broody hens and I ordered hatching eggs for them before this whole lice debacle. The eggs arrived and I'm wondering if I can safely put the eggs in the nests for my girls in the morning? Everyone seems healthy and perky but will tonight's application of the PSP hurt the eggs if I put them under the girls in the morning?
Last but not least, when can I expect to see my girls without any lice eggs on them? How soon does the Elector PSP work?
Thank you in advance for those that are taking the time to read this!
