This has nothing to do with chickens... My aunt & uncle had a bug zapper by their pool. Every evening, when the bugs began hitting the zapper, huge fat toads would crawl out from under the rocks surrounding the pool. They would sit under the zapper, just waiting for the BBQed bugs to drop down. I can just see chickens gathering around the dinner zapper!
