ELECTRIC FENCE VOLTAGE

Hey guys so my ex neighbor gave me a fence charger model # Super 505 ,10 mile and was wondering what's the voltage and amps you all are getting you use similar chargers? Im currently getting 1,368 volts AC and 2.38- 3.09 amps. I touch that sucker, and whoa I welp like a chiuhaha, and can feel tingling for about 15 seconds after. Its pretty strong. Is this normal or high?
