I just came across this thread, i fired up the old crockpot and have a steady reading of 100F on low!!!

This is too funny. I have been sitting at the computer reading this thread and then asked my hubby.."Hey, do you know where our old electric fry pan is?" The first words out of his mouth were..."Why you gonna hatch chicks in it?!?"

You know when I checked my slow cooker it was the West Bend as I use my big Crock Pot one all the time. I think somewhere around here is a small Crock Pot. I will have to see if I can dig it out and check it. After all, I may need a backup one day!

When my chickies get old enough to lay I am totally trying that. This is the coolest crazy idea ever. I'll have to keep an eye out at the thrift stores or a yardsale...

Who me???? I'm just looking at possibilities here. I may have Aracanna eggs coming in May. Depending on when my SIL comes as to whether or not this bator is full or empty.

Grillmaster-I'm assuming you mean my aviator. It is a pic of an egg one of my girls laid last fall. It is not doctored.
