**Electric skillet method-*Open for further questions-starting page 26

I really wish I had known all this when I bought my bator:>) A skillet or crockpot...I have both...two crocks actually. Hmmmm....I'm going to be watching this thread!

Me too I think between my hubby and I we have like 8 crock pots.

100 degrees, plus or minus - thats all it takes. I suppose the heat source doesnt make a difference...

Hi...just letting you know I'm trying the elctric fry pan too! I was loaned an older incubator and have it running too...but my fry pan is holding temp and humidity better.

Since these pics I have added a rock to hold heat in case of power outage and smaller water container with plastic wrap as a lid with just holes in plastic for more control.

Hatches due 15th for incubator and 22nd for "panbator".
Also panbator is now holding steady at 101 and 50%
and eggs are in individual cartons.

Isn't 50% a bit high? All I've read say 40-45%.

Hope not...I heard 50-60 then up to 65-70 for last 3 days before hatching! ohoh anybody?

50% should be fine, and up to around 75 for hatching.

My bator has been running at 50-60% this whole time and they are hatching today !!
