Electrolyte Solution (ORS)

I was wondering if a electrolyte solution for chickens contains the things a human one does... I have seen where you mix:
2 liters of water
1/2 tsp salt substitute (has to have KNO3)
1/2 bicarbonate (baking soda)
1 tsp of normal salt

In human ORS's, you have to have sugar in it also... Is this not the case with chickens?

Thank you for your input... I am trying to stay ahead of all the sicknesses they can procure...
