Hello! Just recently as it's getting colder again we were thinking of adding a little electrolytes to our ducks water and i was curious if anyone has used this brand for their ducks before [pictures attached] it's the only one i was able to get recently and it lists a bunch of animals like turkeys and chickens but not ducks 🤔

apologies if i used the tags wrong lol

I have not used that brand but if its safe for other domestic fowl, it should also be for ducks

I also only use electrolytes for sick ducks, or when I am traveling with them in pet carriers, to keep them hydrated.

nope
i use either roster booster poultry cell or nutrients if i want to give them some vitamins. and for electrolytes i use recover 911 but have only used that either for such birds , injured birds, birds in shock, or when it’s over 105 degrees here if they look like they are suffering then i give some. but also fresh water available ( not only the electro water)
like ruth said it looks safe but do you know the correct dosage i don’t see it in the label?

Ooo thank you all so much!! The back has a few amounts written and says for 4L to add 30ml of stock as the smallest amount

A couple of my ducks have started to sneeze or cough a bit (i really can't tell which because they don't do it very often) but their lungs sound good as of right now so i was thinking of grabbing stuff to be prepared for the upcoming Canadian winter haha

I never thought to use electrolytes for trips in carriers but i'm definitely keeping that in mind if any of my ducks ever need to go anywhere far. And i will absolutely be writing Chickenlandia down and recover 911 for my notes!
