I've been giving electrolytes from day 2 and they are 5 weeks old. Is it okay to continue giving electrolytes for life or how many months do you usually stop giving?

You can give them electrolytes as long as you want but I would make sure the electrolytes that your using don't have artificial flavors or dyes. They don't need electrolytes anymore, though. I recommend putting apple cider vinegar in your chickens water instead.

I actually have been doing that from day 2 also.

Electrolytes really aren't meant for long term use. They usually have a lot of sodium.

Use them to help chickens deal with stress (like shipping) or dehydration (hot days).
