Element cyborgs ~ players needed!

Micah wondered why S had gotten so quiet. He looked along the sidewalk and saw why. There was a group of guys heading their way. Micah basically did the same thing she did. They both seemed to do the same thing around other people. He swiftly closed the panel and stood up next to S, pretending to read the mail.

S chanced a glance up at the other guys. She knew them. They weren't nice to people like her; at all. (She means cyborgs if you didn't catch that.) She slipped her notebook into her pocket, along with her pencil. (Yeah she had a Jean's pocket-sized notebook.) S shuffled her feet and looked away. Please just keep walking. She wished. Just keep going. But just wishing wasn't enough. They stopped and one sneered. "Look, I found The tin man!"(referring to Micah cause they don't know S is a cyborg.) She slumped her shoulders down a little further. It wasn't going to get any easier listening to these guys.

S winced slightly as he said it. Her heart was half mechanical. She couldn't help it. She was born with heart problems, Micah didn't know that... he probably doesn't even know i'm a cyborg. The thought dawned on her suddenly. She felt a sudden wistfulness to be normal. She tried to shrug off the thought. nothing could be done about it now. S shifted uncomfortably. The older guys teasing Micah, an Micah retaliating with witty and sarcastic remarks. She was slightly impressed he had the courage to do so, seeing as there were 6 of them. She carefully ignored her anger when the boys started going with stereo types to help them win the conversation. Her thumb dug into her pencil. there was a groove in it, almost down to the lead, where she scratched when she didn't know what to draw or she was feeling angry. The guys ignored her. she was like a ghost. almost as if she wasn't really there. not many people knew her even though she had lived in this area most of her life.

Micah didn't notice that S winced at his first comeback, and continued making remarks. "Awwwwww... You're so funny that people laugh at you, instead of with you." Micah said, oozing on extra sympathy and sarcasm. Sarcasm was his best defense, even though his first instinct was to stay quiet and blend in, and in cases like this one, he would use sarcasm. He didn't really care about what they say, as long as he makes a fool of them while they're doing so.

The 'leader' of the group, or at least the guy who had the most influence sneered, realizing he was losing the conversation, and said, "whatever!" He turned to push past S rudely, but he only ended up stumbling as he made contact with nothing. S had moved at the last second, like a shadow. Trying to retain some dignity, He straightened up and walked away, the other guys straggling after him, not knowing what had happened. S let out a pent up breath as they went out of earshot. "People like that really get on my nerves." S said quietly.

(Oh my GAWSH Your doing it here too??? I WONT GIVE INTO THE TEMPTATION NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY!)
((U still on?))

Micah couldn't help snickering as the guys walked away. "They get on mine too. But you have to admit, that was funny."
S allowed a shallow smile to spread on her lips. "I guess." She said, her voice gaining strength and purpose once more. "Well... I've got to go....see you at school..." She added the last part without a second thought. She told herself that was stupid, they probably wouldn't see each other because they were a full two years apart.
