Flock Update:

The little pullets experienced their first snow! The SLWs experienced their ninth.:gig


Anyways, pretty much all of the nuggets had a positive attitude about snow, expect for scared Jessie, who ran in and out, in and out. The others liked to lick/eat it... I don't know if that's good or bad, but they all do it and turn out fine, lol.

It was very warm in the coop, and Sadie and Gracie were all lazy inside of the coop. I noticed that Sadie was sitting down, and gave her some things to maybe perk her up a bit. Even though she gobbled them up, I felt her crop just to make sure it's not some crop issues, and it was empty. That's good, but I'll still keep an eye on her.
 
Flock update:

First free range since the snow went well. Nuggets were scared but loved the warm (very healthy) treat I gave them. They went insane as always when I gave them extra sunflower seeds too lol.

I have pictures, but I need to upload them. That'll be tomorrow xD. None of them were great tho... :lau

I gotta love Jasmine. So extra. Taken yesterday, and this is their first free range with snow. They all did well. The older gals were walking in the snow like nothing and the little nuggets were all on the shoveled path to the coop. Poor nuggets.
(Btw, this is the roof stand thing. They like to roost there. :hmm)
