Elvis has left the building

    We're all sad that Elvis passed away last night after a short illness.

    He was a Silkie crossed with something. He had every single Silkie characteristic except he was hard-feathered and had a slight orange pattern around his neck. His offspring with full Silkie hens produced a fair winning non-bearded black Silkie. He was extremely gentle, yet protective of his hens. Of all my roosters, he was the most friendly and calm.
