In my years of working with cops, I know this to be very true. I can even recount instances of cops farting ON THE RADIO. Midnight shift, of course.

Once years ago when DH and I were still dating we were laying in bed and he tried to quietly fart (not sure if I was asleep) and the cat laying on the bed jumps up and dives into his butt. I think she thought it was a mouse but the cat was out of the bag then.

He was so embarrassed.
