I think that is scabbing…but I am not completely sure. Personally I would keep putting on Neosporin, and keep him in a clean place, away from the ladies. If you see any changes in behavior, or the wound gets worse, it might be time for a different treatment course.

I have to commend you for your devoted and excellent care of him.

Ok I have been keeping him in a quarantine pen and have been changing it out daily, he seemed a bit depressed recently so I brought his friend for a short visit and he perked up and didnt like it when I took him away. And thank you, I really love my animals and I hope he will be ok at the end of this.

if you let his friend in for a visit, they should be supervised, and personally I would keep them a distance away incase of pecking/further damage. A mirror could help if you haven't given him one yet, they feel a little better when they can see "another duck".

I agree with Mademoiselle_JubJub, you're doing a good job caring for him so kindly :hugs

I only let him see him for like 5 minutes and I let them see eachother through the fence. It was kinda sad and cute because as soon as they saw eachother they were quaking loudly and were looking at eachother through the fence.
