embilical (sp) cord will not fall off 36hrs HELP!!

Ended up taking the chick out of the incubator last night, hoping that it would dry out and fall off..BUT IT WON"T!!

It is still dragging that part of the shell around too..Can I cut this off?? I do NOT want it to bleed to death, but this sucker is going on 36hrs and it is still not off....

NEED ADVISE FAST PLEASE!!

You could cut the shell part off but let the rest of it dry up on it's own.

Well I took a closer look and I think that the hole where it comes out, I don't think that it is closing or closed. And now I think it looks like the intestines are coming out but I'm not disect in fear of ripping more out of whatever it is...I think I will just let it go for a while and see what happens. It is still walking around they are not eating yet cause they just hatched yesterday..So I hope it starts eating to get the medicated feed in its system..

Any thoughts of the situation?
