I'm not worried because i know it is perfectly normal for the embryos to move about. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how they do it seens as candled on day 8. So it's not like they are having a wee swimming session with their beautifully formed legs.

Is it just because they are in a liquid and by picking the egg up the liquid moves and hence so does the chick?

The holding of the egg, our motion, isn't the cause. If you candle and hold the egg perfectly still, you can see the embryo moving on its own. It is pretty cool, actually! Not sure what the little guys do to move so much, but they are quite active.
