embryos stuck to shell

On day 6 when I peeked at the eggs, some of the embryos appear 'stuck' to the shell, they are not free floating. I have an auto turner, which I made sure was working, but I was just concerned. Will it affect my hatch at all? Some of the air cells aren't at the 'fat end' of the egg, they are more middle. These were shipped eggs, they were on their sides in the box, so I wonder if that's why the air cells are that way.

Has anyone had hatching problems when their young embryos are not free floating?

The odd air cell location happens sometimes due to shipping, as for stuck embryos, ideally they will become unstuck if you turn the egg so that they on the "bottom" and can float up. There is a chance that a stuck embryo can have developmental issues if it truly is stuck and cannot get space for certain parts to grow.

Humidity may be too low.

Okay, I turned the eggs slightly so that when the egg turner turns them they will have a chance to float to the top, and so far, I'm seeing more mobility today. I think I might have one quitter, but I'm giving it a few more days. Thanks for the advice.

All are doing great now! 9 for 9 of Ugly Duckly's bantam favorelles are swimming and bobbing around! I'm really looking forward to seeing the beards on these babies! Plus I have 20 d'uccles from Ideal. Ordered 25, got 30, sold 10 to another who split the order with me. It's going to be a long winter, with this many chicks in the garage! LOL
