EMERGANCY!! DIEING CHICKEN - NEED HELP!!!

I bought the Wazine, the pet club only had that in stock, it was a smaller store.

Should I give her some tonight? or should I give it to her with food?

One poster already said that she is too young to have a massive worm infestation. And, it is recommended not to give a wormer to a sick chicken. Let the medicine from the vet have time to work and keep feeding her...every time her crop goes empty. Be sure she is getting enough water as well. Dehydration can be a killer too.

I bought it just in case, I have been giving her her medications with some added water to get some water into her since she isnt drinking on her own, since I cant tell if she has worms or not. IF I were to give her a bit of the wazine would that do more damage then good?

She is about 2 months, I got her 5/29/15 and she was 1 1/2 weeks at that time.

I dont want to over do it, but at the same time due to the lack of her eating/drinking I want to give her as much nourishment as possible.

I have given her 20 ml of formula at 12 noon today with 3cc of Poultry cell and 1 cc of water.

It very possible that the wazine would do more harm than good, at least right now. I don't know where you are, but here, with the temps at 100 and heat index at 112, my chickens drink A LOT OF WATER. With dogs, cats and people, you can check for dehydration by gently pinching up a bit of loose skin. If it lays right back down, that's good. But, if the skin stays where you pinched it, it means dehydration. It might work for chickens too.
BTW, just ignore the guy with the bad advice.

Already ignoring.

I wont give her the wazine, but I have been giving her water with each med given. I know it waters it down but thats the only way I can give her water.

I live in Phoenix, and today was 95ish, Since Egglington got sick I have given the other 5 chickens more electrolytes and probiotics in their water.

I made a gal and took a 1/4 for Eggly, Mixed it with her Noon Medications. It seemed to give her some oomph.

She is doing this weird head twitch, its like she is dreaming in a way and looking at the grown but her head moves back and forth.

No need for Wazine... return it and get Safeguard for goats instead. Do you want to learn how to tube feed?

-Kathy

Do you still have the Corid?

-Kathy

I still have the corid, I know how to tube feed thank you, its easier now then day 1.

Why return the wazine?

I am getting slightly confused now about using either of them. I was told wazine, corid, safeguard, valbasen.

I was told she is too young to use wazine, and not to use corid. CONFUSION OVER LOAD!!!

Thanks for jumping in Kathy. I'm pretty fair with first aid, but you've got way more experience with why a chicken is sick.
@ Jen: Kathy's advice is what you should be listening to/reading. I think she is a better diagnostician than I am.
