* PHOTOS WILL BE POSTED SOON! *

Colonel got caught in some of our netting while I was working on getting it back up. My older brother helped with cutting most of it off his foot but there's still some wrapped tightly around his toe. It looks like it cut his nail completely off but I will get photos to show what I mean.
He's currently still bleeding but not a whole lot.

Do I put flour on it to stop the bleeding?

I will be bringing him inside to keep watch on him but I have a question.
The cage I will be putting him in isn't big enough for him and Duchess. Will she be fine outside without him while he heals?

If his foot isn't bleeding too bad, put pressure on it until the bleeding stops. Getting all the netting off is the most important thing right now.

Once you get all the netting off, wash his injuries with warm mildly soapy water, rinse well, blot dry then apply an antiseptic spray like Vetericyn, betadine, chlorhexidine or equivalent then apply an antibiotic ointment. You will want to gently clean and retreat the injuries once or twice a day until it starts to heal well.

You will need to keep him indoors in a clean crate and away from flies until his injuries scab over. He can go out in a clean area with Duchess for supervised visits while he heals. I would bring him out to visit her for an hour or so before each cleaning of his injuries.

Looking forward to the photos.

Didn't realize that there's a feather on the spot..
His nail is still attached but facing backwards.
I'll get better photos once he's calmer

Update:
Because I have to wait until my dad gets home to wrap his foot up, I'll be keeping an eye on it for now. I would wrap his foot myself but I need someone to hold him and both my brothers are asleep. Can't wake my older brother since he has work tonight and nothing wakes my younger brother up no matter what we do.

Colonel wasn't too happy about me cleaning his foot so he kept biting me. He settled down after I gave him a few cut up blueberries and watermelon pieces.

Do you also want to see a photo of the spot where he's missing feathers? so that you could possibly give advice for that too?
My dad already rubbed some stuff on there to help heal it but anything else we could do would be helpful!
