Emergency! Babies in storm drain! Update: They are safe!

I honestly don't know if he did or not.

I mentioned to my one supervisor that I went back after I got off and rescued them. And got into a little bit of trouble. She asked trouble how and I told her about the security guard and that I had no intention on keeping the ducklings when I rescued them and was going to give back to the momma, but the guard wouldn't let me. So, a friend that was coming to help me took them.
She asked where the ducklings were - ie did I have them, and if I was wearing my shirt. I told her I didn't have them, and didn't answer the shirt question.
She just said ok and I haven't heard anything else. But they are trying to send me back over to north cypress again - so I guess nothing was said to them other then what i told them.

You guys are all amazing! Fantastic job @Raenh on the rescue. Your dedication and persistence saved those babies. Also, @Texag87 for driving an hour and a half to assist and taking care of the babies. Excellent coordination and communication from the BYC community!!! You guys ROCK!
dont forget @Jpat for the brilliant way to use the shop vac and not hurt them.

So, I overcame my fear of what might have happened, and I'm extremely glad/happy/proud that I did.

Momma knows which pond to avoid now, as the big one does not have an overflow storm grate. Momma and her 8 other babies are fine! :love:love
