Emergency! Duck adoption ended up rescue!

Pics
I am going to try and get more photos up for all of you. My original Ducks and the rescues are doing great today.

My original Ducks are Runt, Sneezy, Pigget, Whatchamacallit, Gus Gus and Loudmouth.

At the vets suggestion we are letting everyone out with the original Ducks. So far this morning it's been very noisy as everyone is all together. Including my original Turkeys because they think they are ducks, and my Tom Turkey Dinner protects our flocks.

Well everyone is out in the grass and Runt Sneezy Pigget and Loudmouth are trying to teach everyone to forage.
I went and put scratch grains down in the grass along with worms that the my son dug up and went inside. We look like we are little kids waiting for Santa Claus as we are all sitting by windows with our morning coffee watching everyone. We even put the real bad off ones out right outside the dining room window.
:eek::eek::eek:
Every one is slowly learning to forage with the help of my original 6.:celebrate
I wish I spoke duck, so I knew what was being said.
We also put the feeders out with everyone and my ducks are also teaching the new ones to eat the feed.
I may not get back on for the update this afternoon. My cousin and Aunt are coming to watch over everyone so I can get some sleep. Which has only consisted of hour or so naps the past several days.

Again I did do a separate post. But our thoughts and prayers are with all those in the path of the hurricane.
:love So wonderful. Thank you for being so kind to these precious webbies.

Animal control is involved and we are getting the rest of the animals that they have Monday or Tuesday.

They have also been here several days this week to see how everyone is doing and taking pictures for their case against them.

When my husband went to pick up the rest of the Ducks he called Animal Control, because he and my neighbor heard animals in the house. So yes they are involved and we are working with them.
Youre such a good person for rescuing them. I'd call animal control and make sure the rest of those ducks get saved

I did want to let all of you know. We talked about it last night. We were eventually going to adopt some of the Ducks out to good homes......
But we feel like the all the birds have been through enough trama and have decided as a family we just can't let them go.
We have Ducks without wings and bald Turkeys and my husband son and I have really gotten attached. My husband expecially with the turkeys, nothing beats watching a retired fireman petting a half bald turkey while trying to get him to drink some water. And then coming in the house and asking me to sew it a sweater like you put on a horse in the winter because the turkey is cold.
Or to have to get rid of Daisy the little Pekin who's got a stick cast on her foot he made for her, and she will never have wings.
:lauand I'm the one who is to attached to give them away:lau
