Emergency!!! Egg bound hen with Huge egg visible inside vent please help!!!

The video has a happy ending. Hope this story does, as well. Here's my article on treating the prolapse after you get the egg out. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...ng-from-vent-prolapse-oh-my-what-to-do.76124/
While the video had a happy ending, the chicken ended up going to the vet and getting two small stitches in her vent to help the prolapse stay in. Owner did all she could to keep the chicken from laying another egg but she did lay another, 4 days later. Same thing happened. Prolapse with egg stuck outside the body. Owner put the hen down at that point. THIS IS NOT TO SAY IT WILL HAPPEN TO THE OP! I don't want to be a debby downer but I am a realist. Good luck OP and I sincerely hope your hen is ok

I hate to say I can't, but I've tried several times and I can't get the egg out. She is not prolapsed like the hen in video; in fact egg doesn't protrude unless she pushes. When she's not pushing, I can reach inside vent and feel front of egg,. When she pushes i can reach inside and feel back of egg. But despite her best efforts to expel it, and me trying to reach behind egg from inside vent and help push, & then I also tried pushing from outside abdomen, it won't come out. She leaked feces a little, & also what looked like more egg white. The stuck egg is Definitely intact. She is now bleeding from me trying to get egg out, but still not "classically" prolapsed. I don't know what else to do. Try harder? I've tried pretty hard but can/will try again.

Give her another calcium tablet, and place her on a moist towel with a heating pad under it. Then let her rest with her sugar water within easy reach.
I remember a thread from awhile ago where someone had this same issue and they put their hen in the bathroom with the shower going, to build up steam and help the egg come out. Thoughts on this for the OP?
