Emergency!!! Egg bound hen with Huge egg visible inside vent please help!!!

Ok. I confess I already gave her a second calcium tablet because she wasn't pushing until I did. Didn't know if second calcium was too soon, but felt i had no choice since her muscles weren't contracting and I could barely feel egg inside her. Will put her on moist towel wiih heating pad and sugar water nearby. I'm again sitting outside under the tree with internet signal. Going back inside to tend to her. Leaving phone under tree. Be back soon.

This is what we're going to replicate with the warm damp towel with the heating pad to generate heat. Confining the hen to a crate will calm her and the warm moist heat will calm her muscles and lower her stress. The egg should then come out in the next hour or so.

Heating pad is ready but due to second calcium tablet, she is currently standing up and pushing. After your latest replying, im going back inside to put her in crate with moist towel and heat anyway. Hopefully she will lay down on towel/pad.

Can you see the egg? I had this with a duck egg 3 days ago I let them sit in warm water for an hour massaging then i saw the egg and I punctured a whole to drain egg and the I crushed egg in half or broke it. Then got it out of the vent. Mayne you could try this....but others seem to have a safer way of doing

Doesn't vinegar dissolve eggshells? Wouldn't that help if it was softer to push out?

She's currently in a steamed up bathroom in a crate resting on a moist towel with a heating pad. She laid down on the heating pad as soon as she felt the heat, so I know it felt good.
