Emergency hatch completed- now what?

Glad to meet you. Oh, they look so bedraggled and awful when they first hatch out. Always. I was so shocked the first time I saw a really new hatched chick. You always get shown the nice fluffy versions after they've been out and about for a day or so. Your chick will look better tomorrow, almost can promise. Good for you getting that baby out safe!

Please do not try to force anything in to its mouth. If you are not extremely careful And you force one single drop down the wrong pipe of the throat you will kill it.
