Hi everyone,
It is 1 in the morning and hubby just woke me up because he could hear one of the chicks in the kitchen. I checked it out and it has a large prolapse that is bleeding so I am guessing the others have been pecking it. It is a 3 day old bantam
they all had clean butts before I went to bed, are eating and drinking ok and all seemed to be healthy. What can cause this?
do I have to quickly cull this chick? There is quite a bit of bleeding but it does seem to be slowing down now it is separated. Can I gently put this prolapse back in and see how it goes? If I do need to cull - how do I do this?
thank you for any help!
