It looked like he had some kind of tumor. Its not too common for them to develop cancer, but sometimes nodules develop due to a foreign body that gets stuck in the trachea or esophagus. There's not much you could have done.

I am so sorry about your feathered friend. It is amazing how much we can love our pets. So sorry

Thank you all for your kind words, I just don't understand it, it came on so quickly. I checked on him last night he was fine, in fact, he was trying to get it on with my rhoade island red. Then I got home tonight and my husband tells me, Ricky was acting like he couldn't breath all day, I immediately got a hold of him, I did the rubbing the neck and next thing I knew, it was like he went into shock or something his head went down, his wings flapped, his whole entire body jerked several times, he did this about 3 times and then BOOM, that was it. He was gone.. I feel kind of bad posting a video of him just before his death. But I wanted someway to help him and quickly... I felt it, I knew it was going to be in a matter of time.. Exspecially not being able to breath like that and all day.. This really sucks...

Mareks' doesn't work like this does it? Does it affect a chicken this quickly? I had lost two chickens last week because of Mareks, after they died, I burned them.. Wonder if the smoke or something with burning could have cause Ricky to get a swift of it?
